1,000,000 Free Tickets - It’s a Steal!
Since yesterday evening, hundreds (if not thousands) of people have logged on to AirAsia’s website to book their free seats. My friend informed me of the news shortly after we ended our meeting at 6:30pm yesterday. We went to AirAsia’s site to take a look and to our delight, we were greeted by countless “0.00″s on the page (hehe). But the thing is, we had no plans to go for any trip, at that time.
Most of us are making reservations just for the sake of ‘getting the free seats’. Freeloading at its best, that is. Despite the fact that other charges still apply, many are contented with the scrapping of only airfares. We talked about going for a trip last night on MSN, but found it quite difficult to decide on a travel period that best suits everybody - within a short time. This itself is a big headache. It seems like the trip would need to be planned in a haste.
As hundreds of free seats are being snapped up with each passing hour, hopes of getting our ideal travel period and destination is quickly fading. One of us even suggested that our company trip be ‘down-scaled’ to somewhere nearer - somewhere that doesn’t require air travel. That’s not a bad idea at all, actually. But the thought of forgoing the free seats………
Gah!

Instead of selecting a suitable date to suit EVERYONE, why not just pick a date, say 3D2N and select a destination. Take it or leave it.
Since you can book almost 6 months ahead, its really not reasonable to say that you can’t plan your things at that time. Besides, you guys will be graduating in 1 more semester, any dates after Jun are holidays for you guys. So, whats the problem? (I mean friends, not company’s trip. :P)
By the way, I received an insider information and got my tickets booked yesterday at 4PM. :P The promotion started yesterday QUIETLY, without announcing to the public until today. I told a few of my friends and they didn’t believe me until they saw the newspaper. LOL. But its too late, the website is overloaded liao and they are blaming me for that.
Yeap, got my tickets booked. Hoho!
Hmm. You and Tien Soon got connection :p
Let’s face it, we lost out the spaces to ppl tat decided faster and who click faster or maybe even to those tat has much faster internet connection.. but isn’t it a blessing now that we wont be making our cash flow to other countries, we have settled with a local trip with the reasonable amount of fun if not even better! they say, the ppl u go with tat matters.. :)
