While We Were at Neway Karaoke Yesterday…
For the few of us, it had always been RedBox (and sometimes GreenBox) Karaoke. Yesterday we decided to go to Neway in 1U for the first time. It was also possibly our last outing together in a long time to come.
After getting our POTC3 tickets, we went upstairs where Neway was located. I simply loved our room. It was so much more spacious than most of the other karaoke outlets I’ve been to. And the TV… gee, it couldn’t be any bigger!
It was either an LCD or plasma TV (frankly, I can’t really tell in dark), and the images were razor-sharp. So in terms of AV and comfort, that place was simply great. We spent about 4 hours there singing our hearts screaming our lungs out.

My exams ended yesterday, and hence my studies. Some of the singers whose voice you heard in the recordings will be going overseas for a holiday soon. I wish everyone who has shifted out from Cyberjaya all the best, and don’t forget to read my blog. Heh!

I find Newway rooms and TV nicer but their soundsystem is crap.

We always go to Redbox too! The last time we wanted to try Neway, the queue was too long. But must try soon! ;)

Rinnah - It’s a good alternative, although I don’t mind going to either one - depends on convenience (if I’m in, say, Sunway Pyramid, then of course just go RedBox la rite).
ST - Surprisingly that didn’t happen to us man - never at all! I was wondering too why no such feedback noise. Audio was not bad too, maybe it was just certain rooms that suffered from these problem?
SY - Aiya, forgot to select. Only one of us loved to sing Hokkien songs… hehe.
Jian - No dude I don’t burn my notes. In fact, I file them up nicely… although I dunno if I’ll ever read them again.

ha ha… dave a… this post is damn funny with the songs provided. Luckily you didn’t post up the singer’s name. Anyway, i miss the time we spent together , i miss staying in the same house with you, i miss those days when we went for trip together, i miss all the friends who gave me the precious memories in these 4 years too. Dun worry, i think we still can hang out together if we really want to meet each others since we are not far apart except for those in Penang. Lastly, I miss you. :)

Ya ya ya, Neway is rather good. I remembered when the 5 of us went, the kind attendant even brought in two extra mics in addition to the two inside the room. Hehe.

Day-dreamer - We got all our mics’ batteries changed! The food sucks though. One of the attendants brought us wrong food and we ate it and it was too late to take back.
