Deng’s 10-Question Tag
Deng asked me some questions two days ago. Blogging has slowed down considerably on Narrowband.org (blogger’s block… :p), so tags are great to keep the blog alive!
Instructions: Please answer all questions. You may spice it up with humour, puffery or exaggeration. Nonetheless, it has to be the truth. Upon completion, please pass it on to 5 friends.
1. Your nickname that is used the most? What is the reason behind the nickname?
Narrowband. Began using it many years ago; inspired by my then-internet connection (dial-up). Our prized possession at that time was the 56K US-Robotics modem.

We had more than one of those fax modems; I remember seeing one being zapped during a thunderstorm.
2. Your height? Be honest now..
I’m about 188cm. A nice number, no?

I was that height when I applied to join university. A year later, it was still the same. I assumed I had stopped growing.
3. This is lame and has been asked loads of times, but… What were you thinking about before going to bed?
I was wondering why my router kept disconnecting itself (from the the internet) everytime I enabled Wifi on my phone.

That’s the Linksys router we’re using at home.
4. Are you long-winded or short-winded?
When I answer direct questions, short. But I’m usually long-winded when it comes to explaining/narrating stuff.

I’m sure you’ve seen some of my long comments and to those of you who know, I can write pretty long emails as well.
5. If you don’t get sick for a very long time, you’ll get Leukemia.
I normally get sick about twice a year - flu, a sore throat, that kind of stuff.

Anyway, no I don’t believe in that statement.
6. I forgot to ask. You birthdate? And year.. Don’t be shy.
29th May 1984. I’m a Gemini, born in the year of the Rat.

Go ahead now, create a reminder or something! ;)
7. What’s your favourite word? Any language.
Er, “Holiday”?

8. Ever wondered why the eyes of a caucasian or our fellow Western friends in general have coloured eyes, and not the Asians?
Never thought of that. I know we’re Asians, and they’re not; therefore we’re different. But mom once hinted that she’d love to have a Caucasian-looking-grandchild. I told her to tell sis instead. I love Chinese women too much.

That’s a HK actress by the name of Michelle Yip, btw. (叶璇 - ye xuan)
9. In conjunction with Pak Lah’s wedding this Saturday (9 June 2007), go on and say a few words.
Congratulations to him. A little shocking at first, but later I learnt about the rumours and then suddenly everything seemed a little… I dunno, shady?

It’s a private affair anyway, so I’m not too concerned.
10. Do you have an MSN life?
Certainly!

Sometimes, it can be ‘quite’ interesting too.
Thanks for the tag, Deng. I’m not passing it on to anyone in particular, feel free to do it if you like! :)
Footnote: All images, except the 10th, were sourced via Google Images.
P/s: Rinnah, I haven’t found the perfect material to do your tag! The next tag on Narrowband.org shall be yours :D
10 Jun 2007 narrowband

No worries, narrowband. Take your time doing the tag. I still owe someone else one! Huahahaha….
Nice to get to know more about you… *sets reminder for next year’s birthday date* Oh yeah, the year of birth, makes you narrowband didi. Teeheehee!
woah.. you very tall ar..
Yes! Tags are great to keep the blog alive. I agree so much, but as at this minute I haven’t found the time (and space) to do my tags which are piling up. Guess I know who to tag next time… ;)
Omg… 188 cm!! So tall!! I would have a hard time talking to you if both of us are standing on a flat floor. Haha. You stopped growing when entering uni? I think I stopped upon entering secondary school. :(
Aiyer… still purposely blank out that MSN email address… :P
Wah you’re so tall? I’m 160cm only. :P
Rinnah - That’s one of the down sides of revealing the Y.O.B… grr….!
Deng - A little taller than the average Malaysian male, yeah.
Day-dreamer - Ah! If you rummage through my archives you’ll notice that I usually don’t pass the tag to anyone, but yeah they’re great as fillers :p
Well, that’s what they say but sometimes I wish I were a little shorter. Girls grow earlier, and stop growing earlier too. Can’t compare…
Oh my MSN, Yahoo, Email are all in my About page… That email in pic was blurred because it’s my friend, Liwei’s ;)
Che-cheh - 160cm for women… normal I guess!
No. 2 - Tall is good. Tall is BETTER than short. Tall is masculine. Tall is manly. Need I say more? ;) I feel more ’secure’ being around with tall guys. And no, I ain’t hinting nuthin’! :p
No. 5 - Nonsense.
No. 6 - Oh My Gawd…
Aiyo, aiyo, angel…! *shy*
You OMG wat.. me young? Grr..! (refer to Rinnah’s above)..
u are way over 188cm now i guess.. hmm i guess, but i was wondering, would height be a matter for u when it comes to ur other half? well out of topic but kinda curious to know..
oh and now only i realized, u are a ratty gymmini, watever tat means :)
aiyoh, i am reminded once again that you are only two years older than my son!
I don’t think so, Jian… I’m like ’stunted’ already. My other half? Whatever la - as long as emotionally, psychologically, mentally and sexually compatible can already. Hehehehe….
Yes Bkworm, I remember that ;p
*make a note*
TO. NEVER. TO. STAND. BESIDE. YOU. OR. ELSE. I. WILL. LOOK. SUPER. PENDEK.
