The Pavilion and Sinfully Delicious J.Co Donuts

Having seen so many photos and reviews on the newly-opened Pavilion in KL, I am pleased to say that I have now, finally, been there myself. What a shopping paradise it is. But the highlight of my visit to the mall today has nothing to do with shopping… it’s something much more mouth-watering than that. I bought these J.Co donuts…:

J.Co Donuts

There were about 15 people in the queue when I decided to join in. It took me more than half an hour to buy them, would you believe it? By the time I reached the counter, the length of the queue had already doubled. Amazing!!!

Now excuse me while I go grab a bite…

Happy Sunday, everyone! ;)

P/s: Lewis Hamilton will take this year’s Drivers’ title… almost surely…

The Pavillion looks like a wallet damaging place. Sigh. I miss home!

  28. Just went to a tasting and interview session with J.Co’s PR. Got to tried most of the more popular flavors. Definitely much better than Big Apple’s, but not sure about comparing it with Krispy Kreme though. ;-)

    Comment by tankiasu — October 9, 2007 #

  29. I prefer Big Apple donuts! Hehehe.

Hmm… I think someone needs to retake the Basics of Blogging class again. Didn’t take pics during our bloggers makan-makan meet. Now didn’t take pictures of the new Pavilion. Tsk tsk tsk. J/K!

  34. It looks SO delicious that I can’t stop salivating over it. Oh well. I shouldn’t be thinking of eating any starchy food (I’m trying hard to lose weight, man it’s tough!), but sorry, I just can’t stop my craving over doughnuts. I will definitely try it out during my very first visit to Pavilion. Just curiously asking, how many did you eat? lol

    Comment by emily — October 11, 2007 #

  35. Jason – I know :p I’ll try to improve. Try lah. Haha. No pandan, dun blame me… Go call J.Co!!

Xinyi*Uses a tissue paper and wipes saliva off Xinyi’s chin*

Jian – Yes a new mall. You’re outdated, indeed. Malaysia has advanced tremendously since you left about 3 months ago. We now have sent a man to space. I hope you didn’t miss that piece of news. LOL…;p

    Day-dreamer – Will consider doing that. Tee-hee ;D

Keeyit – It’s not fully opened, but it looks promising. Of course I didn’t finish up all the donuts. They were for my family members as well!

Chen – No it was shared among a number of people ;p

Meisan – Quick, make a trip down to the Pavilion and enjoy the taste yourself!

Che-cheh – I used to like Dunkin’s too, hehe. Hey, your ‘curse’ came true – Hamilton suffered his first-ever F1 retirement in such a crucial race. What timing!!

Cincau – Haven’t tried Big Apple… so sedap one ka…? *Air liur membasahi mulut*

Conancat – I think Dunkin’s are okay. They’ve been my favorite since I was a kid. Only now we have more ‘competitors’ ma (like Big Apple and J.Co leh…)

Satkuru – Seems like the most popular thing about the Pavilion is its J.Co outlet, huh? Haha! Smashie takes kickass photos, no doubt!

    Neo – I could offer you…

    … the hole part ;p

Julee – I didn’t! I beli balik and makan without you only ;D

    Charngyee – At Pav’s? Hmmm…!

Gary – Eating J.Co == masuk kongsi gelapz?! -.-” hhahahah. Welcome, welcome. Visit often!!

Deng – You pernah dengar tak ‘Google Earth’? It’s right in the heart of KL! ;D Walking distance from Starhill la :D

    Vic – Yeappie!

Elyn – I don’t see how the shapes of donuts can vary significantly ;p I see that the Donut Epal Merah oso quite popular hor……

Giddy Tiger – Yes, good eyes!! That flavor had white chocolate on it. Yummyyy…

Rae – Yes I heard alot about KK too. 4 hours at 1am is a killer. I’d give up the donuts for a good night’s sleep ;p

Alicia – I haven’t tried the Big Apple ;( Nobody go with me :(

Conancat – Hahaha! Bro, ever heard of something called the ‘shopping directory’? If all fails, you still have the Information counter!

TZ – I never tried them before prior to queuing up. I heard people talking about it, saw people lining up for it, so I hopped onto the bandwagon as well. Haha. The line wasn’t that bad, really. Everyone didn’t mind standing there in queue.

Darren – Maybe it’s still new, don’t know what it has to offer. The foyer’s very spacious! I was still trying to get used to the layout… haha.

Smashie – Then you need to go to the Rehab…

Tankiasu – Hey I saw your site. I must say that it’s very informational, especially about J.Co! Thanks for sharing with us the interview findings! I wish I could be like you, taste every single flavor as well… :(

Rinnah – Oh no :( The Basics of Blogging again I kena :(. Is the class full? Still open for registration? How much will it cost? I must learn to tangkap gambar paiseh-less-ly liao…… ;p

Meishin – Why didn’t you try yourself? That’s what I did – upon witnessing the long queue. I went there and joined in the queue right after my dinner. And I was considered early liao, cuz the line sorta built up after that…!

Rinnah – Oh my!! Another one!! *Faints* Thank you, Rinnah… I’ll go take a look!

Cbenc12 – Oh!! *Yet* another one!! *Double-faints*. Thank you very much… Funny, I thought there was a typo ;p

Steph – Yes I heard about KK alot as well, quite exclusive too. And J.Co is largely criticized for imitating KK in Indonesia actually… Although I believe it’s all a matter of personal taste!

Emily – Losing weight’s tough? Well… so is the other way ’round (for me…) ;(. I didn’t eat alot la. About 7 nia. LOL!! JUST KIDDING! Actually it was shared among my family, including my uncle’s family. They’re great for snack.

  37. J Co donuts is in KL!?! Oooo…. I like J Co donuts. I always get my Indonesian students to buy them for me when they return from Jakarta. Wonder if they taste different. I’ll try the J Co donuts in Kl when I go there. :)

    Comment by eastcoastlife — October 13, 2007 #

  38. I WANT THE CHOCOLATE DONUT!!!!! I AM HUNGRY !!!!!!! ROARS!!!!!!

    Comment by Vonne — October 15, 2007 #

  39. Krispy Kreme ? Ppl like J.Co more than KK lah. Even my boys and myself prefer J.Co than KK. KK has less choices. Sometimes, they “pak woo ying” (swat flies) that they have to give out FREE whole donuts to passer-by. Only then, I will eat KK. Otherwise, it’s definitely J.Co for me!!

    Comment by Nomadic Mom — October 22, 2007 #

  40. BTW, J.Co Donuts much more delicious than Dunkin’s
