Paintball Fever

Apparently, our previous paintball outing in January had generated quite abit of interest. Therefore, this time around, the number of players shot up to about 30!

The weather was sucky early in the morning, but everyone turned up in high spirits. Some of us gathered at SS15′s Drive-Thru McD’s for breakkie, before heading to TT Sports near Subang Lake View.

Participants included former uni mates, ‘net friends, their colleagues, their friends (and even relatives, I heard!) and a whole bunch of fun-loving people who were mostly playing for the first time!

We split ourselves into 4 teams, and played round-robin style. Each team had the opportunity to play a total of 4 times – which was pretty fair. There was still ammo left after the 4th game, so we decided to hold a females-only battle.

There was less screaming than I had expected. In fact, the girls played so seriously that we were so afraid that someone was gonna get badly bruised. Thankfully, none of them was seriously injured. But the same cannot be said about this guy…

If there was an award for the “Most Badly Bruised Player”, this guy would have won hands down. Apparently, during a game, he had actually ran up to his opponent and offered a painless defeat. He yelled, “Surrender now!”. This kind-hearted dude got shot instead, LOL!

Can you guess who’s who? :p Well, there are many more photos taken during the game this morning, including a group shot at the end of the whole session. But I don’t think it’s appropriate to publish them without the consent of those whose (uncovered) faces appeared inside – unless I personally know them very well!

The game cost us RM60/person, and we had a total of more than 6000 pellets at our disposal. I say that’s pretty reasonable!

Btw, for those who’re interested to join the Hot Air Balloon Crew Workshop (as blogged in my previous entry), check out the organizer’s Group on Facebook: Hot Air Ballooning in Malaysia. There’s another workshop coming up on March the 16th. You gotta pay an RM50 fee. Drop them an email/message for further enquiries.

P/s: Ya ya, I know I sesat for very long time already. I just returned from a little bit of traveling, and since then I’ve been clocking in a fair amount of OT at the office! How to update blog, you tell me!?? Oh boy how I love the weekends…!

  7. hahaha offering a painless defeat is totally pointless especially to those who are playing for the first time. i did the same as what khek did and i ended up with a 3rd nipple -_-”

    shiok man 30 people ! :P

  9. Rinnah – Hahaha!! Duncan was taking bets… I didn’t bet :p

    Che-chehKaming kaminggg!!

Victor – Haha, haven’t decided, but we shall keep you in the loop (wah seh go so often gonna pokkai dy).

Esther – You should try it… none of the girls got seriously injured that day (except probably Rinnah, who had a bruised knuckle! :p)

Duncan – Yes just a little… oh yeah. But when I was walking towards the dead zone after being shot at my abs… the pain lingered for a few minutes!! Now ok dy though… hehe.

Esther – LOL… that… was an isolated incident (how cliche). He was just unlucky… haha… you could rent something they call a ‘cover-all’, which is long-sleeved, for RM10. You won’t get hurt that much! No bloodspill, for sure!!

Sat – Hahaha… I hope hair didn’t grow on the third one! :pPpp I guess calling it a nipple is apt too, cuz it’s just as sensitive, I guess!!! LOL… sensitive cuz it’s painful!!

Dude, 30 people yes… but not everybody went in and played together… that’d be chaotic man!! So it’s still the same, 8 players against 8 players normally.

Gan – You can say that again…

Duncan: This guy’s itching for some bruise, bro. We need to ‘help’ him out!

  11. Blah. I wasn’t exactly looking for bruises, but I could do with more action next time. Besides, my personal score with Duncan was not settled too.

Jian – I’m training to join army! Hahahah! When you wanna play?
