The Nokia Wireless Adventure II Race (Part 1)
The Nokia Wireless Adventure II race was fun. It really was. I remember how panicky it felt when we thought we couldn’t upload all our photos onto the website (via 3G) on time. Damn stress ok. Anyway, it’s over now and a very big congratulations to the winners, Suanie and Frankie who each won a trip for two to Hong Kong!
On top of that, they also get RM1500 bux for pocket money! And don’t forget that brand new Nokia N82 which was given to everyone the night before. I think it was a close race. Everyone was really good, and I believe that must’ve had given the judges a hard time determining the winner. I have lots of photos so I’ll do this in parts. First up, show you my roommate.
Ah pOp! If our neighbours next door could hear us, they would have probably heard sounds of SLR cameras clicking away very frequently. We were given a room in One World hotel, which totally surpassed my expectations. I absolutely loved our room. As for the race, I was paired with Su Ann @ Pinkpau.
She’s damn hot can! Check out our team colour! Metro-ness… Anyway, we liked it - I think it made us stand out. Definitely goes well with Su Ann’s screen name too. We didn’t discover much of ‘new’ places, but we did drop by at an underground rock performance, where no photography was allowed, and the music was… mind-blowing. Like, really.
Made some new friends and had a lotta fun. I’m damn tired right now so let me just end this entry with one last pic - a teaser photo of the phone that I took home today. So despite not winning the grand prize, I think all of us were still contented anyway. The phone simply rocks. We also got Robinsons shopping vouchers worth RM500!
Subsequent updates shall include actual photos taken using the N82 during the race, and more stories. Now before I crash, I wanna express my gratitude to our team marshal, Eve, our walking GPS-cum-race vehicle driver (Nissan Cefiro w00t) Mr Ibrahim, as well as our video camera guy, Desmond. They were so good at what they were doing ;)
P/s. Gotta go back to office on Sunday to meet project deadline. Sighhh.
