Steamboat Macro

I was in Cameron Highlands for the weekend, for some chocolate fondue, steamboat, mahjong, movies, strawberry plucking, and alot of camwhoring! We took around about 1000 shots in three days. Let’s begin with some macro shots of our steamboat foodstuff.

Some fish roll with brown stripe (is that what you call that? :p).

Scallops!

Sausage macro’ed…

Chicken.

I think that’s what they call the seafood (fried) tofu (!?), and some crabsticks visible in the foreground.

Siew Mai…

Slices of beef.

And some greens to go with our meal. Of course there were lots more other food and this is just some of the more interesting ones macro’ed. All shots were taken with a 50mm f1.8 II lens (about RM280), mated to a Raynox DCR-250 macro converter (about RM250), with the help of a 430EX Speedlite (about RM1100).

I shall put up more more photos in the next couple of days :) How was your weekend?
